Skip to main contentChange your email address
To change your email address:
- Go to Settings > Account > Security.
- Click add email.
- A pop-up box will appear for you to enter the new email address you want to switch to.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the new email address with a two-factor authentication code. Enter this code on Stenoa to confirm your new address.
- To make this address your primary email address, click on the three dots besides the email address and select Make primary.
Changing a primary email address will change the email address for all Workspaces using the old email address. If you want to change the email address for just one Workspace, we recommend asking your administrator to invite that email as a new user.
Sign-in methods
Stenoa supports single sign-on (SSO) in order to allow users to gain access to their application using their existing credentials from an Identity Provider (IdP), like Google or Microsoft.
Users can also authenticate with their email address directly, without using an IdP. This sign-in method will involve configuring a password for your Stenoa account. Both methods will involve a two-factor authentication step.
Some Workspaces may enforce verified domains, which will restrict membership to users with specific email domains. For example, if the domain @stenoa.com is verified, any user with an email address ending in @stenoa.com can join an organization with that domain.
A verified domain cannot be a disposable domain or common email provider. For example, you cannot create a verified domain for @gmail.com.
Logging out
You can log out of your account by clicking on your user icon, and then on log out. For security purposes, accounts with greater than 30 days of inactivity on a given session are automatically signed out.
