Overview

Stenoa is available as a web application from the browser, or as a native mobile application on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.

Browsers

The Stenoa web app can be accessed by logging in to stenoa.app. Stenoa will launch directly in your browser window. Nearly all functionality in the mobile app is available on the web in most browsers. We support the three most recent versions of Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

iOS and Android

Stenoa on mobile allows you to use Stenoa wherever you are, and serves as your point of entry to real-time care coordination.

Home

Review active or pending cases by service, switch services, and manage your profile settings including notification preferences.

Schedule

View your on-call status, current and upcoming shifts, create a new on-call shift, view and search your network’s on-call dashboard, and manage inbound and outbound shift transfer requests.

Create cases

Create cases with critical and non-critical activation sequences, and search by Flow.

Archive

View case archives by Service, search by name or MRN, and filter by Flow or assignee.

Lists

View a patient List by service and admission status, add and edit patients on a List, and filter, sort, and search by any field.

Automatic app updates

The web app installs updates automatically in the background. The mobile app will also automatically download and install updates automatically in the background, so long as automatic app updates are enabled on your iOS or Android device. To ensure these settings are enabled:

Real-time sync and offline

Stenoa automatically syncs all changes in real-time as they happen. This is critical to your team’s ability to work quickly. If for some reason changes cannot be sent to our backend, the app will store changes locally and re-try whenever connectivity is restored (e.g. internet is back up).
