> Assign, change, or remove on-call coverage for a shift from the Call dashboard.

## Overview

The Call dashboard shows on-call activity for your entire hospital. From it, you can assign an open shift, re-assign a covered shift to a different user, or remove coverage entirely.

1. Go to Locate > Dashboard.
2. Click the shift you want to change. A sidebar appears with the shift’s details.
3. Click Re-assign shift.
4. Select the user who will take the shift.

## Assign an open shift

If a shift has no coverage yet:

1. Click the open shift on the Dashboard to open its sidebar.
2. Click Assign shift.
3. Select the user you want to assign to the shift.

## Remove coverage from a shift

To leave a shift without coverage:

1. Click the shift on the Dashboard.
